When You Feel Inadequate
Let’s be honest: we all have days when we feel like we’re not enough. Not smart enough. Not spiritual enough. Not organized, patient, polished, or productive enough. And if we’re not careful, that quiet voice of doubt turns into a megaphone of discouragement.
But here’s the truth: you were never meant to be “enough” on your own.
That’s what grace is for.
God isn’t asking you to be perfect—He’s asking you to be willing. To show up. To say “yes” even when your knees are shaking a little. And He promises to fill in the gaps with His strength.
Remember Moses? He told God he couldn’t speak well—and God said, “I’ll be with your mouth.” (Exodus 4:12) Translation: “I’ve got this. You just go.”
That’s what He says to us, too.
So next time you feel inadequate, pause and pray. Take a breath and remind yourself: God doesn’t call the equipped—He equips the called. And girl, if He’s called you to it, He’s already made a way through it.
You don’t have to hustle for approval or have it all figured out. You’re already deeply loved by the One who knit you together on purpose.
So chin up. Shoulders back. Take the step.
You’re not doing this alone—and you’re not meant to.
