Prayer. Purpose. People.
As women of faith, we often find ourselves wearing many hats—nurturer, leader, encourager, and servant. In the swirl of daily life, it’s easy to feel pulled in too many directions. But when we center our hearts around prayer, purpose, and people, something beautiful happens—we find peace in the middle of the busy and clarity in the middle of the chaos.
Prayer is where it all begins. It’s not just a routine—it’s a relationship. In prayer, we lay down our worries, pick up God’s promises, and realign our hearts with His truth. Whether whispered in the carpool line or poured out during quiet morning moments, prayer is our lifeline to the One who knows us best and loves us most.
Over the years, I’ve come to realize that these three things—prayer, purpose, and people—are what keep me grounded when life gets busy, loud, or just plain overwhelming.
Prayer isn’t a fancy formula. It’s not just a routine—it’s a relationship. In prayer, we lay down our worries, pick up God’s promises, and realign our hearts with His truth. It’s where I remind myself that I don’t have to carry everything alone. Whether it’s a quiet moment in the morning, a whispered “help” in the middle of the day, or a tearful “thank you” at night, prayer is where I remember who’s really in charge—and that He’s for me.
Purpose is what gets me out of bed. Not every day feels grand or world-changing (some days are just laundry and meetings), but knowing that God created me on purpose for this season helps me keep showing up. You don’t have to have it all figured out—just ask Him what the next right step is, and trust Him.
People are the wild cards—and the blessing. We weren’t made to do this life alone. Community strengthens us, encourages us, and helps carry us when we’re weary. Whether it’s family, friends, or fellow believers, God uses people to sharpen, stretch, and support us as we walk out our calling.
If you’re feeling a little off balance right now, come back to these three things. Talk to God. Ask Him to remind you why you’re here. And reach out to someone who accepts you just the way you are.
Never forget – you’re not meant to do it all—you’re meant to stay close to the One who can.
